Holiday Inn Resort
Vivacious hotel situated on the beach. Next to the hotel you will find the cozy beach bar Moomba. The many facilities and activities ensure that you won’t feel bored for a minute. The resort offers 5 adapted rooms on the ground floor with wide passages, extra wide doors, handle bars near the toilets and a seat near the shower.


Hyatt Regency Aruba
The Hyatt Regency Aruba, Resort & Casino is a comfortable hotel, situated on the beautiful Palm Beach and equipped with all comforts and advantages that come along with a splendid hotel. The hotel has among others one hypo allergenic fitted (ADA) room with roll-in-shower and 6 adapted rooms without a roll-in-shower. All rooms are easily accessible by lift or slope.


Occidental Grand Aruba
A luxurious resort, situated on the beautiful Palm Beach. The beautiful location and the very generous all inclusive formula makes sure that you will miss nothing. There are 3 adapted rooms and 1 wheelchair room in this hotel, located on the ground floor and the 3rd floor. Extra wide doors and handle bars in the toilet and the bath. The hotel has a dress code.


Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino
The sparkling Renaissance Aruba Resort & Casino is an ideal place to stay on the island of Aruba. Spacious guest rooms are characterized by the colonial West-Indies decoration with tropical Caribbean finish and spacious balconies or private patios with teak furniture.     Wheelchair taxis; tricycles, quads and touring cars can be booked. A three or four wheel mobility scooter, electrical or ordinary wheelchairs can be reserved for you. Your mobility therefore has not to be an impediment.

    Arubans are very friendly and above all focused on the American way of life. They speak mostly Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamento.

    Food and drink
    There are very many different eating options on Aruba, from European to Chinese. Try a delicious pastechi (puff pastry) with chicken. You can also drink very sweet lemonade drinks like Grape (purple), Cherry (red) and Pineapple (yellow). The local beer on Aruba is Balashi Beer. The tap water is good and drinkable.

    Financial matters
    Aruba has its own currency, the Aruban florin, mostly used by the local population. Tourists mostly pay with American dollars. There are many places where you can change Euros into US dollars. ATM’s can mostly be found in the various shopping malls in Oranjestad. Credit cards are accepted almost anywhere.

    Tropical climate; a lot of sunshine and a cooling north-east trade wind. Average temperature is 30°C.

    Aruba is GMT/UTC Offset – 4h, Aruba does not utilize Daylight Saving Time.

    The public transport on Aruba is provided by Arubus (regular service). The bus station in Oranjestad is the central hub/transfer point. Early 2013, a (local) streetcar line in Oranjestad will be put into operation.

    The taxis charge according to set prices. Car rental is possible in many locations. The main roads are mostly paved in the western part of Aruba. In the hinterland (kunuku) the roads are not paved. On the island of Aruba, cars drive on the right hand side of the road.
